Today we are going to Newcastle, North East England. Watching Geordie life concentrates on the small things that make up life in Newcastle and possibly many other towns in England.

For an introduction to Newcastle and to the blog, read B’s first post, which also defines ‘Geordie’ (courtesy of Wikipedia)

Geordie refers to a person from the Tyneside region in north east England, in particular the city of Newcastle and the adjacent areas, or to the dialect of English spoken by these people.

This story about trying in vain to give away an unneeded day pass for the bus made me smile. Does this happen in other places too?
