A group of the UK’s most prestigious libraries have put their heads together to select a list of 100 websites which will be essential reading for future generations trying to understand the UK in 2013. That means they are probably good reading for those in other countries trying to learn more about the UK.

Camberwell, London has a lively online community

It’s a varied list, including big sites like Amazon UK and the BBC as well as smaller niche and local sites.

One of these is Camberwell Online, a local blog with an active comments section from the district of Camberwell in South London, selected for its ‘personal insights of a community in 2013
