Mike, our contributor from Japan, published a photo essay called Photo Essay: What Sort of Beach, is a Pretty Beach, to You ? All the photos of Tsuken-jima beach are indeed pretty.

Carrie, one of our editing contributors, reflects on her childhood and how travelling and experiencing other cultures shapes one’s view of the world. And one way of exposing a child to different aspects of other cultures is the e-book recently launched by the team behind PocketCultures: Games for Kids of the World.

“As a kid, I was lucky to have lots of influences in my life, and diverse cultural experiences to draw upon. While I had the safety of my family as a backdrop, I was raised in Mexico City, and because my dad’s work had him doing lots of travel, we often travelled with him as our family vacation to exotic and interesting places. “

Anu, our contributor from India, published a beautiful photo of Jaigarh Fort in Jaipur.
