My life in Denmark

Idathue is Ida’s online journal. Many beautiful photos, and a few well-chosen words, document Ida’s life in Århus, Denmark.

I especially liked the life on my street posts (part I and part II), which show people on their way to work or school, viewed from Ida’s window.

Greenland’s white coast

Kuummiut is a settlement on the East Coast of Greenland, and it is also the name of a blog written by Carl Skou, a Danish teacher working in Kuummiut.

According to Carl, Kuummiut is located in one of the most beautiful and isolated parts of Greenland, where fishing and hunting are a big part of life. There are even some encounters with icebergs.

To get more ideas have a look at the photos of Kuummiut residents enjoying the long summer evenings.
