I have a question, in parts:

How easy is it as an expat to make friends with Liberians?

What is it that turns Liberians off in the behavior of foreigners in general?

What sort of behavior or actions are appreciated?

What should never be said or done?

I’ve lived in a number of foreign countries including Ghana, West Africa, and I’ve learned that a little cultural sensitivity is a must to make your life in a foreign country a good experience.

I’ve just read As the Earth Turns Silver (Alison Wong) which is set in early 20th century Wellington, so I’m intrigued to know more about the town and how it has changed. This blog is perfect! Thanks for the recommendation.
