Read the smart and engaging BuYousef (Yousef’s dad) and you will get to peek at life in Kuwait.
Mohammad, as he is also known, likes photography and takes his camera almost everywhere. So there are plenty of photos of Kuwait and the other places his business takes him, both Middle East and further afield.

In between trips there are stories of family life with Um Yousef and children Noor and of course Yousef. In case that’s not enough there is also gardening and homing pigeons.

This week’s Blog of the World definitely shows a new side of life in the USA.
Olivia, Nathan and their son Tristan are on a road trip around the USA in their RV (motorhome for those of us not fluent in American!). They are web designers, so they can work from anywhere that has an internet connection.

The family set off from Pittsburgh in August and are currently in Austin, Texas. When mum and dad are not coding they are busy homeschooling Tristan, who is 7 years old.
Tumblewagon is the story of their adventures. As you would expect from a pair of tech-friendly web designers, this is no ordinary words and pictures blog - there are also video and podcast entries.

Beenish Khan writes Kaleidoscope from Pakistan. She works as a software engineer and so writes a mixture of stories interspersed with techie news and recently updates on her new hobby of making cartoon strips!
Through reading her posts we can learn that many things in life don’t really change between different countries, while occasional posts (such as this one written after the bombing of the Marriott hotel in Islamabad) are a reminder that some aspects of life can be very different.
