Thailand: work is play?

March 10, 2011 Comments disabled , , ,

The cultural expertise quiz is back, after a break last week to make room for our weddings around the word series.

This week, we’re talking about Thailand. Here’s the question:

Thailand is one place in the world where you can truly say that “work is play.”

True or False?

In the last post we asked about road rules in Austria.

True. For example, if you cross the street, when the traffic light is red, those people who disapprove will either tell you so or communicate their displeasure in some way. If you fail to stand to the right where it is requested (Bitte rechts stehen), people my bump you to get by.
