Hot cross buns

Today is Good Friday and in the UK it’s traditional to eat hot cross buns. We eat them toasted with butter – perfect with a cup of tea.

I’ve never tried them! What have you added, raisins or chocolate?

They are with raisins, fruit peel and cinnamon. Those are the traditional flavours, but nowadays you can also find them with chocolate.

It’s one of my favourite snacks. But I have to admit, I didn’t make these ones. It was a friend of my mum
